The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) organize an International Symposium on "25th Years of the Right to Development: Achievements and Challenges" at FES premises in Berlin, Germany from February 24-25, 2011.
This symposium aims to bring together leading actors working on humanrights and development. Stakeholders invited include the former UN High-level task force on the right to development and the Chairperson designate of the UN Working Group on the right to development, national government officials, development and UN agencies, NGOs and academics. Olivier De Schutter will be delivering the concluding remarks to the event.
