General communications
To carry out his work, the Special Rapporteur relies heavily on information from governments, civil society, academics and international organizations. The Special Rapporteur encourages these stakeholders to submit information that relates to his mandate to promote the progressive realization of the right to adequate food for all and to address situations in which this right is being violated. This information may be about:
- positive developments in alleviating hunger, in particular developments in national implementation of the right to food (from new legislation, court cases, policies etc.)
- cases of alleged violations
- new initiatives, campaigns or programmes, recent studies, research papers or conferences of interest or other information of relevance
