On 31 March 2011, EurActiv is organising a high-level Stakeholder Workshop EurActiv titled 'Towards climate-smart agriculture? Post-Cancún and farm policy', following Olivier De Schutter's call for a "Green Marshall Plan for Agriculture" ahead of the Cancún Climate Conference.

The Special Rapporteur will deliver an 'impulse statement' at the outset of the event and contribute to the following open debate.. This workshop will focus on making agriculture an integral part of a smart solution to tackle climate change - halfway between Cancún and Durban.
